Family Support
CCPC provides a number of activities that work to ensure the health and well-being of families with children ages birth to five years of age. Parents As Teachers, a home visitation project is one of the options for family support activities at the local level.
Health
CCPC collaborates with Columbus County Department of Public Health, Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Division of Medical Assistance, Department of Social Services Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear, Medical Providers and other agencies in the county to address the health needs of young children. Not only do children need the proper nutrition, they also need to learn the importance of physical activity and how it impacts their overall health.
Early Education
Early education and literacy build the foundation that allows children to be successful students throughout their academic endeavors and successful people in a global society.
