About Us

The Columbus County Partnership for Children...
is a catalyst for bringing different groups together for the sake of the children.

We administer Smart Start funds from the state legislature to support programs to benefit children age 0-5 and their families.

We also educate the community on the critical needs of young children and help develop solutions.

Our goals are to ensure:

  • All Columbus County children are healthy and prepared to succeed when they enter school.
  • Columbus County families effectively fulfill their roles as the primary providers, nurturers, and teachers helping their children reach their full potential.
  • All Columbus County families with children 0-5 have access to the high quality, affordable services they need and want, including early childhood education, services for children with special needs, and other services that support families.
